car parking during your stay
Parking in Tórshavn is always free, but there is a time limit when parking in the city centre. Sometimes the time limit is 30 minutes and a few parking spaces with a time limit of 2 hours. At a four minute walking distance, there are a couple of parking lots with 8 hour parking.
Monday to Friday 09:00 – 18:00
Please observe the blue parking signs which state how long you can park.
Saturday 10:00 – 14:00
Only a few parking spaces have a time limit (times in brackets indicate that there is a time limit on Saturdays).
On Sundays, bank holidays, evenings and nights, there is never a time limit.
The reception will gladly help with instructions.
